SINTRA LAB HACKATHON

Hackathon is the Sintra competition dedicated to talented young people  who are willing to prove themselves. Participants, grouped in teams of at least two people, will compete to resolve an IT-related challenge in a fixed time span.

The challenge theme and details will be revealed only when the competition will actually start.

WHAT IS AN HACKATHON

An Hackathon is a competition intended for university students or recent IT-engineering/management engineering graduates, who are willing to prove their skills.

 

AN OPPORTUNITY NOT TO BE MISSED

By taking part in the Hackathon you will have the opportunity to

  • receive support and mentoring from Sintra senior developers
  • get noticed by IT companies
  • receive a cash prize, if you win

COMPETITION RULES

  • Registrations are open from September 5 to October 5. To participate you have to compile the form available here.
  • The project theme and details will be revealed to participants only when the competition will actually start.
  • Competition has two distinct section:

    • “Project Management”, in which you will have to create a business plan related to the given project

    • POC (proof of concept), in which you will have to develop a prototype implementing the given project

PRIZES

Sintra will offer a 300€ prize for the winner of the “Project Management” section and a 700€ prize for the winner of the “POC” section.
